About MDF

Mälardalens Datorförening (MDF) is a non-profit association with the goal to deliver cheep internet to students. The Associations main purpose though, is to broaden the knowledge about computer and internet to student and to offer somewhere for people with the common interest of computers to meet. With the support of an ISP, MDF has the possibility to offer server and hardware access for it's members, that otherwise would be to expensive for a home user.

MDF is also a good knowledge source and work experience for when the time comes to look for work.

So if you feel like programming, working with Unix, playing games or just have someplace to meet people with the same interest, you are welcome to come by.

History

Mälardalens Datorförening (MDF) was established in 2003 to administrate the student internet and help students with computer issues.

During the summer and fall of 2005 MDF decided to create an ISP to provide cheap internet connections for the students at Mälardalens Högskola
