For some of our customers, it is necessary to register a MAC-address, which is an unique id that your computer have.
The address usually has this format; "1a-2b-3c-4d-5e-6f"
Windows XP:
- Click on Run in the Start menu.
- Type cmd in the dialog and press enter.
- Type getmac in the console window.
- Look for "Physical address" in the output.
Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1:
- Type cmd in the search field located in the start menu/screen and press enter.
- Type getmac in the console window.
- Look for "Physical address" in the output.
Apple OS X:
- From the Apple drop-down list, select System Preferences....
- Click the Network icon.
- Look for Ethernet ID or MAC Address.
- In OS X v10.4:
- In the Show: drop-down list, select Built-in Ethernet.
- Select the Ethernet tab.
- Next to Ethernet ID:, the computer's MAC address will be listed.
- In OS X v10.5/10.6:
- In the left pane, select Ethernet.
- Click the Advanced... button.
- Select the Ethernet tab.
- Next to Ethernet ID, the computer's MAC address will be listed.
- In OS X v10.7/10.8:
- In the left pane, select Ethernet.
- Click the Advanced... button.
- Select the Hardware tab.
- Next to MAC Address:, the computer's MAC address will be listed.
